Ana Maria Guerreiro Dias
Ana Maria Guerreiro Dias (born 15 January 1974) is a Portuguese long-distance and marathon runner. She is a four-time Olympian, and a multiple-time national record holder for the long-distance running (5000 metres, 10,000 metres, half-marathon, and marathon). She also set a personal best time of 2:28:49, by finishing fourth in the women's race at the 2003 Berlin Marathon. Athletic career At the age of twenty-two, Dias made her official debut for the 1996 Summer Olympics in Atlanta, where she competed in the first ever Athletics at the 1996 Summer Olympics – Women's 5000 metres, women's 5000 metres. She finished the race in eleventh place on the second heat of the competition by nearly a second behind Denmark's Nina Christensen, with a time of 15:57.35. Ribeira Brava (; ) is a municipality on the island of Madeira Island, Madeira, in the Portugal, Portuguese Autonomous Region of Madeira. The European 10,000m Cup is an annual 10,000 metres race for European athletes which was first held in 1997. The competition is organised by the European Athletics Association and first began as the European 10000 Metres Challenge (''European 10,000m Challenge'' till 2005 edition), after the event was removed from the European Cup programme. Yesenia Centeno Sousa (born 27 June 1971) is a marathon runner. Born in Cuba, she represents Spain internationally. In 2003, she adopted Spanish nationality in order to compete internationally for the marathon. Five years later, she achieved a top-ten finish at the Fortis Rotterdam Marathon, and also, set her personal best time of 2:31:16 by finishing fourth at the Hamburg Marathon. At age thirty-seven, Centeno made her official debut for the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing, where she competed in the women's marathon, along with her compatriots Alessandra Aguilar and María José Pueyo. She finished the race in forty-fifth place by less than a second ahead of Portugal's Ana Dias, with a time of 2:36:25. 2005 World Championships In Athletics
The 10th World Championships in Athletics (, ), under the auspices of the International Association of Athletics Federations (IAAF), were held in the Olympic Stadium, Helsinki, Finland (6 August 2005 – 14 August 2005), the site of the first IAAF World Championships in 1983.
