Ana Cagi Moi
Ana Cagi Moi (born 1998) is a New Zealand based Fijian netball player who plays centre and wing defence. She represented Fiji at the 2017 Netball World Youth Cup in Gaborone, Botswana and the 2023 Netball World Cup in Cape Town, South Africa. Early life and education Moi is from Vanualevu in Fiji's Cakaudrove Province. She grew up in Auckland, New Zealand and attended Mount Albert Grammar School. As of October 2023, she was attending Massey University. In 2023, she was one of 151 students who received the university's Blues Award, which recognizes students who excel in academics and athletics. Career In 2017, Moi was selected for Fiji's under-21 netball team and played at the Netball World Youth Cup, placing fourth. She was added to the Fiji Pearls extended squad in August of that year. 2017 Netball World Youth Cup
The Netball World Youth Cup Gaborone 2017 was the eighth staging of the tournament previously (until 2013) known as the World Youth Netball Championships, the premier competition in international netball, contested every four years. The 2017 tournament, to be held from 8–16 July, held in Gaborone, Botswana, which is first African region country to host the tournament. The Fijian Broadcasting Corporation (FBC) is one of the two radio broadcasters in Fiji. It was known as Fiji Broadcasting Commission when it began. It traces its history to 1935 when it first began operating under licence from the Posts and Telegraphs Department with the call sign ZJV. At the end of 1952, the legislative council passed the Broadcasting Commission Bill. The commission members were appointed in June 1953. On 1 July 1954, the commission's first programme was broadcast as part of the official opening ceremony. 2023 Netball World Cup
The 2023 Netball World Cup will be the sixteenth staging of the premier competition in international netball, contested every four years. The tournament will be held from Friday, 28 July to Sunday, 6 August at the International Convention Centre in Cape Town, South Africa. This will mark the first time the tournament will be held in Africa. Organisation The host city and venue was announced by the International Netball Federation (INF) on 8 March 2019, only months prior to the staging of the 2019 edition in Liverpool, England.
