An Min (politician)
An Min( zh, s=安民; born April 1945) is a Chinese politician, former Vice Minister of Ministry of Foreign Trade and Ministry of Commerce in China. Biography An Min was born in April 1945 in Shaanxi, the first son of An Ziwen. He graduated from the University of International Relations with a bachelor's degree in English in 1970. He worked for China's Ministry of Foreign Trade from 1979 to 2003 and became the Vice Minister of Foreign Trade in 2001. The Ministry of Commerce (MOFCOM) is an Ministries of the People's Republic of China, executive department of the State Council of the People's Republic of China responsible for formulating policies on foreign trade, export and import regulations, foreign direct investments, consumer protection, market competition (competition regulator), and negotiating bilateral and multilateral trade agreements. An Ziwen (; 25 September 1909 – 25 June 1980), born as An Zhihan (安之瀚), was a Chinese politician and member of the Central Committee of the Chinese Communist Party. He served as minister of the CCP Central Committee Organization Department, the Central People's Government Minister of Personnel, deputy secretary of the Central Discipline Inspection Commission, the Standing Committee of the CPPCC National Committee, among other roles.
