Amy Gleason
Amy Gleason (born ) is an American healthcare technology executive and government official, currently serving as the Acting Administrator of the United States Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) since February 2025. She previously worked for the U.S. Digital Service from 2018 to 2021, where she was part of the White House Coronavirus Task Force's data team. Education Gleason graduated from the University of Tennessee in 1993. Career Healthcare Gleason began her healthcare career as a registered ER nurse. She later transitioned into the healthcare technology sector, working for companies including Allscripts, which provided electronic medical records software. In 2011, Gleason co-founded CareSync, a Florida-based medical technology company, where she was the chief operating officer and chief strategy officer until its acquisition by Vatica Health in January 2019.
