Amy's Kitchen-Perpetual
Amy's Spikers were a professional women's volleyball club that briefly played in the Philippine Superliga (PSL). It is owned by Sonia Trading, Inc., distributor of Amy's Kitchen products. It debuted in 2015 during the PSL Beach Challenge Cup. Philippine Super Liga
The Philippine Super Liga (PSL; alternatively spelled as Philippine Superliga) was a non-professional corporate club women's volleyball league in the Philippines. It was first organized by SportsCore Event Management and Consultancy, Inc. and later owned by Athletic Events & Sports Management Group (ACES), Inc. The league was envisioned to provide former collegiate players a league with which they can continue with their volleyball career. The PSL also had a men's division from 2013 to 2014, although its beach volleyball tournament both have a women's and men's division since its inception. In 2021, the PSL was left without any active team after all teams either filed a leave of absence due to the COVID-19 pandemic or moved to the newly professionalized Premier Volleyball League, the PSL's rival league. 2016 PSL All-Filipino Conference
The 2016 PSL All-Filipino Conference was the third conference edition and second indoor tournament for the Philippine Super Liga's fourth season. The tournament began on 18 June 2016 at the Filoil Flying V Centre, San Juan. Most matches will be held at Filoil Flying V Centre and Cuneta Astrodome, Pasay. Amy's Kitchen is a family-owned, privately-held American company based in Petaluma, California, that manufactures organic and non-GMO convenience and frozen foods. Founded in 1987 by Andy and Rachel Berliner, and incorporated since 1988, the company took its name from their daughter, Amy. All of Amy's 250+ products are vegetarian and made with organic ingredients. The company also operates a chain of four vegetarian fast food restaurants in California called Amy's Drive Thru. 2015 PSL Season
The 2015 PSL season is the third season of the Philippine Super Liga (PSL). There were two indoor conferences for the season – the All-Filipino, and the Grand Prix. It staged its first beach volleyball tournament, the Challenge Cup, for the women's and men's divisions. Developments * The PSL is now sanctioned under the Larong Volleyball sa Pilipinas, Inc. (LVPI), the newest governing body for volleyball in the Philippines under the leadership of POC 1st Vice President Joey Romasanta, aside for being recognized by the AVC and the FIVB. The 2015 PLDT Home Ultera PSL Beach Volleyball Challenge Cup was the inaugural beach volleyball tournament of the Philippine Super Liga and the second tournament for its third season. The conference began on July 18, 2015 and ended on August 8, 2015 at the newly opened The Sands, SM By The Bay ( SM Mall of Asia). The games were held for four consecutive Saturdays. 2016 PSL Season
The 2016 PSL season was the fourth season of the Philippine Super Liga (PSL). There were three indoor conferences and one beach volleyball tournament for the season. The PSL was also chosen to organize two international volleyball tournaments for the year - the 2016 Asian Women's Club Volleyball Championship and the 2016 FIVB Volleyball Women's Club World Championship - both of which were staged in the Philippines. Background The calendar of events for the 2016 season was finalized during the planning session between the league officials and team owners on November 11, 2015. Starting this season, teams will offer annual exclusive contracts, instead of per-conference agreements with their players. The 2015 PLDT Home Ultera PSL All-Filipino was the first conference of the Philippine Super Liga for its third season. The conference began on March 21, 2015 at the Mall of Asia Arena and ended on May 14, 2015 at the Cuneta Astrodome. There was no tournament for the men's division. 2015 PSL Grand Prix Conference
The 2015 PSL Grand Prix was the second indoor conference of the Philippine Super Liga for its third season. The conference began on October 10, 2015, at the Alonte Sports Arena, in Biñan, Laguna. Stav Jacobi, FIVB Executive Council member and chief organizer of the FIVB World Women's Club Volleyball Championship, was the guest of honor for the opening ceremony, while Prajaya Chaiyakam, the deputy managing director of SMMTV, Asian Volleyball Confederation (AVC)'s official TV partner, and his cameraman went to Cuneta Astrodome to witness Game 1 of the PSL Finals. 2016 PSL Invitational Cup
The 2016 PLDT Home Ultera PSL Invitational Cup was the first indoor volleyball tournament for the Philippine Super Liga's fourth season. It ran from February 18 to April 9, 2016, coinciding with the UAAP Season 78 volleyball tournaments. A guest team from Thailand, playing under the name Est Cola, joined the final round, clashing against top three teams of the preliminary round for the championship. LVPI Director Jeff Tamayo was the guest speaker of the opening ceremonies, while LVPI President Joey Romasanta and Sports5 head Patricia Bermudez-Hizon attended the awarding ceremonies.
