Amrit Bharat Station Scheme
Amrit Bharat Station Scheme is an ongoing Indian Railways mission launched in February 2023 by the Ministry of Railways to redevelop 1275 stations nationwide. It is both enabler and beneficiary of other key Government of India schemes, such as BharatNet, One Station One Product, Make in India, Startup India, Standup India, industrial corridors, Bharatmala, Dedicated Freight Corridor Corporation of India and Sagarmala. Duvvada railway station (station code:DVD) located in the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh, serves Duvvada, the southern outskirts of Visakhapatnam. It lies on the Howrah–Chennai main line.
