Amore (Alessandra Mussolini Album)
''Amore'' is the first and only album by Alessandra Mussolini. The album was released by the Alfa Records in 1982 in Japan only and was produced by Miki Curtis. On the album, Mussolini sang songs in Italian, English and Japanese. In 1982, Mussolini and her mother paid a visit to Japan. When asked if her daughter can sing for an advertisement, Mussolini's mother gave a positive answer, even though Mussolini had never sung before. Mussolini recalled that, "When I sang in Japan, Cristiano Malgioglio (author of some of her songs on the album) saved me". is a district of Minato ward located in Tokyo, Japan. The district is located between the eastern side of the Yamanote Line train and Tokyo Bay. City Pop
is a loosely defined form of Japanese pop music that emerged in the late 1970s and peaked in the 1980s. It was originally termed as an offshoot of Japan's Western-influenced "new music", but came to include a wide range of styles – including AOR, soft rock, R&B, funk, and boogie – that were associated with the country's nascent economic boom and leisure class. Italo Disco
Italo disco (variously capitalized, and sometimes hyphenated as Italo-disco) is a music genre which originated in Italy in the late 1970s and was mainly produced in the early 1980s. Italo disco evolved from the then-current underground dance, pop, and electronic music, both domestic and foreign (American hi-NRG, French Euro disco) and developed into a diverse genre. The genre employs electronic drums, drum machines, synthesizers, and occasionally vocoders. It is usually sung in English, and to a lesser extent in Italian and Spanish. Giuseppe Cristiano Malgioglio (; born 23 April 1945) is an Italian composer, singer-songwriter, showman and television personality. Biography Born in Ramacca, Catania, Malgioglio obtained his first contract with a record label, Durium, thanks to the efforts of Fabrizio De André. In 1974 he composed Iva Zanicchi's song "Ciao cara come stai?" ("Hi darling, How Are You?"), which won the Sanremo Music Festival.
