Amoral (band)
Amoral was a Finnish Heavy metal music, heavy metal band from Helsinki, formed in 1997. They released seven studio albums between 2004 and 2016. The band's fourth album, ''Show Your Colors'', was an about-turn, replacing the dominance of death metal with Progressive metal, progressive, technical and melodic metal and the occasional sing-along chorus. Amoral performed extensively in bars, clubs, festivals and other venues in Finland, Europe, Japan, China, Philippines and the US. The band split up in 2017 after 20 years together. History Early times Amoral was formed in 1997 by two teenagers, Ben Varon and Juhana Karlsson. Silver Ots joined soon after. The first vocalist was Matti Pitkänen, who was quickly replaced by Niko Kalliojärvi. Former band members also included Ville Sorvali from Moonsorrow on bass. Tuska Open Air Metal Festival
Tuska Festival, (previously Tuska Open Air Metal Festival), commonly shortened to Tuska (), is a Finnish Heavy metal music, heavy metal rock festival, festival taking place annually in Helsinki. The first Tuska took place in 1998 and the festival has since grown larger every year. The location of the festival has been in Kaisaniemi park in the middle of the city from 2001. However, since 2011, Tuska has taken place at the Suvilahti event field in the Kalasatama neighbourhood of the Sörnäinen Subdivisions of Helsinki, district. The festival dates have always been in either June or July. In recent years the attendance has grown and the festival has drawn up to 63,000 people in 2023. "Garden of Eden" is a song by American hard rock band Guns N' Roses (written by Axl Rose and Slash), which appears on the album ''Use Your Illusion I''. According to Slash, the song was written while the band was rehearsing for an extended period of time in Chicago. Music videos There is a music video of the song, which consists of one continuous shot which features a close-up of Rose with the band playing in the background, while keyboardist Dizzy Reed and Teddy Andreadis (who played the harmonica for the band during the Use Your Illusion Tour) are seen dancing in the background. ''Beneath'' is the fifth album by Finnish heavy metal band Amoral. The American release date was 14 February 2012. It was released in Europe by Imperial Cassette in 2011 and the US edition was released by The End Records in 2012 . Beneath is produced by Janne Saksa & Ben Varon. It is recorded by Janne Saksa and Amoral at Sound Supreme Studios, Hämeenlinna(FI) in February 2011. It is mixed by Janne Saksa and mastered by Svante Forsbäck at Chartmakers Studios, Helsinki(FI). Arrangements are by Amoral. Programming on "Beneath" was made by Mikko P. Mustonen and programming on "Wastelands" by Janne Saksa.
