Amir Shurush
Amir Shurush (, ; born 9 July 1984) is an Arab-Israeli actor and comedian. In 2021, he won the Best Actor – Comedy Series award at the Awards of the Israeli Television Academy. He appeared in the Israeli comedy series '' Checkout'', which aired on Kan 11, and offered satirical impressions of Mansour Abbas, Ayman Odeh and Youseph Haddad in the Israeli sketch comedy show ''Eretz Nehederet'' which airs on Channel 12 (Israel). Early life Shurush was raised in Eilat, Israel, and is the son of Anwar Shurush, an Arab-Christian, and of Israeli Meira Shurush. He grew up in a major Israeli Hebrew city, and despite his Arabic accent – Shurush disclaimed fluency in the latter. Shurush mentioned that Arab cuisine is his favorite. Arab Joint List
The Joint List (, ''al-Qa'imah al-Mushtarakah'', , ''HaReshima HaMeshutefet'') was a political alliance of four of the Arab-majority political parties in Israel: Hadash, Balad, the United Arab List and Ta'al. The United Arab List left the alliance on 28 January 2021. With Balad wanting to leave the coalition, it was subsequently dissolved in 2022. The alliance was the third-largest faction in the Knesset after the 2015 election, estimated to have received 82% of the Arab vote. In January 2019, Ta'al split from the alliance, and the remaining coalition was dissolved on 21 February 2019. Hadash is a left-wing to far-left political coalition in Israel formed by the Israeli Communist Party and other leftist groups. History The party was formed on 15 March 1977 when the Rakah and Non-Partisans parliamentary group changed its name to Hadash in preparation for the 1977 elections. The non-partisans included some members of the Black Panthers (several others joined the Left Camp of Israel) and other left-wing non-communist groups. Within the Hadash movement, Rakah (which was renamed Maki, a Hebrew acronym for ''Israeli Communist Party'', in 1989) has retained its independent status. An impressionist or a mimic is a performer whose act consists of imitating sounds, voices and mannerisms of celebrities and cartoon characters. The word usually refers to a professional comedian/entertainer who specializes in such performances and has developed a wide repertoire of impressions, including adding to them, often to keep pace with current events. The Haifa Theatre (; ''Teat'ron Kheifa'') is the first municipal theater company of Haifa, Israel. Orna Porat Children's Theater
The Orna Porat Children's Theater is a children's repertory theater established in 1970 by Israel Prize winner and actress Orna Porat and Yigal Alon, the Minister of Education at the time. Ramat Gan
Ramat Gan (, ) is a city in the Tel Aviv District of Israel, located east of the municipality of Tel Aviv, and is part of the Gush Dan, Gush Dan metropolitan area.
