Amir Fryszer Guttman
Amir Fryszer Guttman (; April 25, 1976 – July 23, 2017) was an Israeli singer, musician, choreographer, actor, theater director and LGBT rights activist. He died after being swept away with his niece, whom he had held above water; his niece survived. Biography Amir Fryszer Guttman was born as Amir Feiger in Kiryat Haim to a Romanian-born couple. He shortened his original family name to Fei when his parents divorced and added the surname of his maternal grandfather, Guttman, in honor of family members perished in the Holocaust. Fey Guttman began his career as a young journalist and model. After serving in the Israel Defense Forces, he joined the Eilat hotel's entertainment team. In 1996 he was selected by Hed Arzi Music to join a new boy band called " Hi-Five". Until it was dismantled in 2000, the band released three albums, all of which reached gold status, and an EP, and won the Festigal twice. Kiryat Haim
Kiryat Haim ( ) is a neighborhood of Haifa. It is considered part of the Krayot cluster in the northern part of metropolitan Haifa. In 2008, Kiryat Haim had a population of just under 27,000. Kiryat Haim is within the municipal borders of the city of Haifa and lies on the shore of the Mediterranean Sea. History Kibbutz Kfar Masaryk, a group formed in Petah Tikva in 1932 and originally known as "Czecho-Lita", as its members came from Czechoslovakia and Lithuania, moved to Bat Galim in 1933 and then to the sand dunes of Kiryat Haim, west of the railway. The kibbutz raised vegetables and opened a dairy farm. At this point it adopted a new name: ''Mishmar Zevulun'' (Guardian of Zevulun Valley). Kiryat Haim was named after Haim Arlosoroff. ''Honk!'' is a musical adaptation of the 1843 Hans Christian Andersen story '' The Ugly Duckling'', incorporating a message of tolerance. The book and lyrics are by Anthony Drewe and music is by George Stiles (of the British songwriting duo Stiles and Drewe). The musical is set in the countryside and features Ugly – a cygnet who is mistaken as an ugly duckling upon falling into his mother's nest and is rejected by everyone but Ida (his mother), a sly tomcat who only befriends him out of hunger, and several other barnyard characters. The musical opened at the Watermill Theatre in England in 1993. Atlit (modern Town)
Atlit (, ) is a coastal town located south of Haifa, Israel. The community is in the Hof HaCarmel Regional Council in the Haifa District of Israel. Off the coast of Atlit is a submerged Neolithic village. The town of Atlit is named after the nearby Crusades, Crusader outpost and fortified town of Atlit, also known as Château Pèlerin, which although in ruins remained populated until 1948. The town was established in 1903 under the auspices of Edmond James de Rothschild, Baron Edmond de Rothschild, approximately two kilometers south of the historical site which was then a small Palestinian village. Kikuchi Disease
Kikuchi disease was described in 1972 in Japan. It is also known as histiocytic necrotizing lymphadenitis, Kikuchi necrotizing lymphadenitis, phagocytic necrotizing lymphadenitis, subacute necrotizing lymphadenitis, and necrotizing lymphadenitis. Kikuchi disease occurs sporadically in people with no family history of the condition. It was first described by Dr Masahiro Kikuchi (1935–2012) in 1972 and independently by Y. Fujimoto. T-cell Lymphoma
T-cell lymphoma is a rare form of cancerous lymphoma affecting T cell, T-cells. Lymphoma arises mainly from the uncontrolled proliferation of lymphocytes, such as T-cells, and can become cancerous. T-cell lymphoma is categorized under Non-Hodgkin lymphoma (NHL) and represents less than 15% of all Non-Hodgkin's diseases in the category. T-cell lymphomas are often categorised based on their growth patterns as either aggressive (fast-growing) or indolent (slow-growing). Gila Almagor Agmon (; born Gila Alexandrowitz; July 22, 1939) is an Israeli actress, film star, and author. In Israel, she is known as "queen of the Israeli cinema and theatre". Biography Gila Alexandrowitz (Almagor) was born in Petah Tikva to Jewish emigrant parents from Europe. Her German-Jewish father Max Alexandrowitz was killed by an Arab sniper while working as a policeman in Haifa four months before she was born. Her mother Chaya was from a Polish Orthodox Jewish family. Almagor grew up caring for her mother, who was slowly losing her sanity after realising that all her family in Europe had been murdered in the Holocaust. Zachi Noy
Zachi Noy (; born 8 July 1953) is an Israeli actor. Early life Noy was born in 1953 in Haifa, Israel with the name of Yitzhak Novogruder. At a young age, Noy did stage work for the local Israeli theater "HaSadna" in Haifa. Later, he spent his military service in a military band. The Jungle Book
''The Jungle Book'' is an 1894 collection of stories by the English author Rudyard Kipling. Most of the characters are animals such as Shere Khan the tiger and Baloo the bear, though a principal character is the boy or "man-cub" Mowgli, who is raised in the jungle by wolves. Most stories are set in a forest in India; one place mentioned repeatedly is "Seeonee" ( Seoni), in the central state of Madhya Pradesh. A major theme in the book is abandonment followed by fostering, as in the life of Mowgli, echoing Kipling's own childhood.
