Amir Ali Azarpira ( fa, امیرعلی آذرپیرا; born March 26, 2002) is an Iranian Freestyle wrestling, freestyle wrestler. He won gold medal in the 2021 U23 World Wrestling Championships – Men's freestyle 97 kg, 97 kg event at the 2021 U23 World Wrestling Championships held in Belgrade, Serbia and a member of the Iranian national team. and the 2022 U23 World Wrestling Championships. Freestyle wrestling is a style of wrestling originated from Great Britain and the United States. Along with Greco-Roman, it is one of the two styles of wrestling contested in the Olympic Games. American high school and men's college wrestling is conducted under different rules and is termed scholastic and collegiate wrestling. American collegiate women's wrestling is conducted under freestyle rules. Freestyle wrestling, like collegiate wrestling, has its greatest origins in catch-as-catch-can wrestling.
