Amina Ahmed El-Imam (born 27 July 1983) is a Nigerian microbiologist, academic and politician who is Commissioner for Health in Kwara State. She is a Native of Offa, Kwara State and senior lecturer in microbiology at the University of Ilorin, Nigeria. Early life and education Born on 27 July 1983, in Nigeria, El-Imam obtained a microbiology degrees at Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, Nigeria. Offa ( 29 July 796 AD) was King of Mercia, a kingdom of Anglo-Saxon England, from 757 until his death in 796. The son of Thingfrith and a descendant of Eowa, Offa came to the throne after a period of civil war following the assassination of Æthelbald. Offa defeated the other claimant, Beornred.
