2022 FIVB Volleyball Men's Nations League
The 2022 FIVB Volleyball Men's Nations League was the fourth edition of the FIVB Volleyball Men's Nations League, an annual men's international volleyball tournament. The competition was held between 7 June to 24 July 2022, and the final round took place in Unipol Arena, Bologna, Italy. Australia were the last placed challenger team after the preliminary round and will be replaced by 2022 Challenger Cup winners Cuba in the 2023 edition. France won their first VNL title after defeating the United States in five sets. It was the United States' second silver medal. Memorial Of Hubert Jerzy Wagner
The Memorial of Hubert Jerzy Wagner is a volleyball, volleyball friendly competition for the national teams, currently held every year and organized by the Hubert Wagner Foundation. The first Memorial was held in 2003. The competition has been held every year since, except 2020 due to COVID-19 pandemic. Tournament History The tournament is played in the middle of the year, always about two weeks before the most important event of the year. Competitions have been created in memory of the best volleyball coach in Poland, Hubert Jerzy Wagner, who won the 1974 FIVB Men's Volleyball World Championship, the Volleyball at the 1976 Summer Olympics, Olympic gold in 1976 and silver medals in the Men's European Volleyball Championship in 1975 Men's European Volleyball Championship, 1975 and 1983 Men's European Volleyball Championship, 1983 for the Polish team. The Asian Men's Club Volleyball Championship, previously the AVC Cup Men's Club Tournament (between 1999–2002), is an annual continental club volleyball competition organised by the Asian Volleyball Confederation (AVC), the sport's continental governing body. The competition was first contested in 1999 in China. It was not held in 2003 and 2020 due to 2002–2004 SARS outbreak and COVID-19 pandemic respectively. The winner of the Asian Men's Club Volleyball Championship qualifies for the FIVB Volleyball Men's Club World Championship. 2017 Asian Men's U23 Volleyball Championship
The 2017 Asian Men's U23 Volleyball Championship was the second edition of the Asian Men's U23 Volleyball Championship, a biennial international volleyball tournament organised by the Asian Volleyball Confederation (AVC) with Islamic Republic of Iran Volleyball Federation (IRIVF). It was held in Ardabil, Iran from 1 to 9 May 2017. The tournament was served as the Asian qualifiers for the 2017 FIVB Volleyball Men's U23 World Championship held in Cairo, Egypt with the top two ranked teams qualifying for the world championship. The matches was played in only one stadium in Ardabil: Rezazadeh Stadium. It was the first time that Iran and Ardabil had hosted the tournament.
