Americo L. Santiago (born July 4, 1951) is an American politician. Santiago lived in Bridgeport, Connecticut. He served in the Connecticut House of Representatives from 1989 to 1995 and was a Democrat. Ezequiel Santiago (April 22, 1973 – March 15, 2019) was an American politician. Early life Santiago was born in Camden, New Jersey. He moved with his family to Bridgeport, Connecticut. Santiago worked on the political campaigns of his father Americo Santiago and stepfather Mitch Robles. His father also served in the Connecticut General Assembly. The Connecticut General Assembly (CGA) is the state legislature of the U.S. state of Connecticut. It is a bicameral body composed of the 151-member House of Representatives and the 36-member Senate. It meets in the state capital, Hartford. There are no term limits for members of either chamber. During even-numbered years, the General Assembly is in session from February to May. In odd-numbered years, when the state budget is completed, session lasts from January to June.
