American Pearl
American Pearl was a hard rock band from Los Angeles, California. They released one studio album through Wind-up Records in 2000 and toured internationally before disbanding two years later. History Formed in 1997, American Pearl started with guitarist Kevin Quinn, who owns a famed Sunset Boulevard tattoo shop, and Quinn's frequent customer, singer and guitarist Kevin Roentgen of the band SOUL. They broke from individual music projects to begin a new band together and were soon joined by Noah Shain (drums) of The Imposters and Rodney Rocha (bass). American Pearl played in various L.A. clubs before being signed to Wind-up Records in 1999. This allowed them the opportunity to open concerts for Buckcherry and The Cult, as well as play at Woodstock '99. ''American Pearl'' is the only studio album by the American hard rock band of the same name. Released on August 22, 2000, it features the singles "If We Were Kings" and "Free Your Mind". The track "Automatic" was featured on the ''Scream 3'' soundtrack. Along with "Free Your Mind", it also appeared in the Funimation dub of the animated movie '' Dragon Ball Z: Lord Slug'' in 2001. The tracks "Seven Years" and "Revelation" appeared in '' Dragon Ball Z: Cooler's Revenge'' the following year. Kiss (commonly styled as KISS) was an American rock music, rock band formed in New York City in 1973 by Paul Stanley (vocals, rhythm guitar), Gene Simmons (vocals, bass guitar), Ace Frehley (lead guitar, vocals) and Peter Criss (drums, vocals). Known for their face paint and stage outfits, the group rose to prominence in the mid-1970s with shock rock–style live performances which featured fire-breathing, blood-spitting, smoking guitars, shooting rockets, levitating drum kits and pyrotechnics. Run Run Run is an American indie rock band from Los Angeles. The quintet consists of Xander Smith (vocals, guitar), Nic Speck (bass), Doug Palmer (guitar), Francisco DeCun (drums) and Alek Speck (keyboards/ percussion). Rx3 is the brainchild of singer/songwriter Smith, who started the band after a trip out to Joshua Tree, CA in 2001 to make demos with Fred Drake at Rancho De La Luna (Earthlings, Queens of the Stone Age, Mark Lanegan). Days of the New was an American rock band from Charlestown, Indiana, formed in 1995. The band later relocated to Louisville, Kentucky. They consisted of vocalist/guitarist Travis Meeks and a variety of supporting musicians. They are best known for the hit singles " Touch, Peel and Stand", " The Down Town", " Shelf in the Room", and "Enemy".
