The American Communist Party (ACP) is a Marxist–Leninist political party in the United States and Canada. ACP formed in 2024 when its members split from the Communist Party USA (CPUSA). Two notable founders of ACP, Jackson Hinkle and Haz Al-Din, are known for the populist tactic of MAGA Communism, which has been accused of being a syncretic ideology combining right-wing populism with Marxism. False Consciousness
In Marxist theory, false consciousness is a term describing the ways in which material, ideological, and institutional processes are said to mislead members of the proletariat and other class actors within capitalist societies, concealing the exploitation and inequality intrinsic to the social relations between classes.
