American Coalition For Ukraine
American Coalition for Ukraine (ACU) is a coalition of nearly 100 US organizations that advocate for US support of Ukraine's defense and sovereignty, as well as strengthening U.S. relations with Ukraine. It was established in the aftermath of the Russian invasion of Ukraine. Structure The founding members of the Coalition including US-based Ukrainian nonprofit organizations Razom, Razom for Ukraine, Ukrainian National Women's League of America, Nova Ukraine, Ukrainian American Coordinating Council, United Help Ukraine, and Klych. Non-Ukrainian founding members MedGlobal and the Georgian Association in the US demonstrate the diversity among US-based supporters of Ukraine. The term is most frequently used to denote a formation of power in political, military, or economic spaces. Formation According to ''A Guide for Political Parties'' published by the National Democratic Institute and the Oslo Center for Peace and Human Rights, there are five steps to coalition building. The first step in coalition building involves ''developing a party strategy'' that will prepare for successful negotiation.
