Amelia Shankley is a British actress (born 18 June 1972) Career Shankley is known for her role as the young Alice Liddell in the film ''Dreamchild'' (1985), from a script by Dennis Potter, and Sara Crewe in the LWT version of ''A Little Princess'' (1986), based upon the novel ''A Little Princess'' by Frances Hodgson Burnett. Shankley also portrayed Vicki Lovejoy in seasons two and three of the television series ''Lovejoy''. Alice Pleasance Hargreaves (''née'' Liddell, ; 4 May 1852 – 16 November 1934), was an English woman who, in her childhood, was an acquaintance and photography subject of Lewis Carroll. One of the stories he told her during a boating trip became the children's classic 1865 novel ''Alice's Adventures in Wonderland''. She shared her name with "Alice", the heroine of the story, but scholars disagree about the extent to which the character was based upon her. ''Boon'' is a British television drama starring Michael Elphick, David Daker, and later Neil Morrissey. It was created by Jim Hill and Bill Stair and filmed by Central Television for ITV, and was originally broadcast between 1986 and 1995.
