Amelia Kerr
Amelia Charlotte Kerr (born 13 October 2000) is a New Zealand cricketer who currently plays for Wellington Blaze, Wellington and New Zealand women's national cricket team, New Zealand. She is the youngest female cricketer to score a List of One Day International cricket double centuries, double century in One Day International cricket and holds the record for the List of women's One Day International cricket records#Highest individual score, highest individual score in a women's One Day International match. Kerr was named player of the tournament at the 2024 Women's T20 World Cup after helping New Zealand win the trophy for the first time. 2020 ICC Women's T20 World Cup
The 2020 Women's T20 World Cup was the seventh Women's T20 World Cup tournament. It was held in Australia between 21 February and 8 March 2020. Women's One Day International (ODI) is the limited overs form of women's cricket. Matches are scheduled for 50 overs, equivalent to the men's game. The first women's ODIs were played in 1973, as part of the first Women's World Cup which was held in England. The first ODI would have been between New Zealand and Jamaica on 20 June 1973, but was abandoned without a ball being bowled, due to rain. ICC Women's World Twenty20
The Women's T20 World Cup is the biennial international championship for women's Twenty20 International cricket. The event is organised by the sport's governing body, the International Cricket Council, with the first edition having been held in England in 2009. For the first three tournaments, there were eight participants, but this number has been raised to ten from the 2014 edition onwards. In July 2022, the ICC announced that the Bangladesh would host the 2024 tournament and that England would host the 2026 tournament.
