Amba (film)
''Amba'' is a 1990 Indian Bollywood film produced and directed by Mohan Kumar. It stars Anil Kapoor, Meenakshi Seshadri, Kiran Juneja, and Shabana Azmi in the title role as Amba. Plot Prabha lives a wealthy lifestyle with her widowed father Thakur Jasbir Singh and her brother Kunwar Ranvir. She receives a marriage proposal from equally wealthy Thakur Shamsher Singh but immediately rejects him and marries Rajendra. Prabha re-locates to move in with him, his widowed and principled mother, Amba Bhanupratap Singh, and his wayward brother, Suraj. Prabha soon gives birth to Rajat. Rajendra, who secretly visits local courtesan Munnibai, returns home intoxicated one night and sexually molests and then kills Geeta, who is their servant, Bhiku's daughter, but is treated like a family member. Dulari (real name Ambika Gautam) (18 April 1928 – 18 January 2013) was an Indian actress, who worked as character actors in Hindi cinema, appearing in 135 films, most notably ''Jab Pyar Kisi Se Hota Hai'' (1961), ''Mujhe Jeene Do'' (1963), ''Teesri Kasam'' (1966), ''Padosan'' (1968) and ''Deewaar'' (1975). Suresh Ishwar Wadkar (born 7 August 1955) is an Indian playback singer. He performs in both Hindi and Marathi films. Anand Bakshi (21 July 1930 – 30 March 2002) was an Indian poet and lyricist. He won Filmfare Award for Best Lyricist 4 times during his career. He wrote over 6000 film songs in more than 300 films.
