Amauri Carvalho de Oliveira (born 3 June 1980), known as Amauri, is an Italian former footballer who played as a striker. His previous clubs include Bellinzona, Parma, Napoli, Piacenza, Empoli, Messina, Chievo, Palermo, Juventus, Fiorentina and Fort Lauderdale Strikers. Although he was born in Brazil, he represented Italy once at international level in 2010, after acquiring Italian citizenship. Club career Early career Amauri was trained at Palmeiras, the club of his place of birth, São Paulo state, but failed to impress. At the age of 19, he went to Santa Catarina state to work and played for a local club at Santa Catarina State League 2nd Division. Carapicuíba
Carapicuíba () is a municipality in the state of São Paulo in Brazil. It is part of the Metropolitan Region of São Paulo. The population is 403,183 (2020 est.) in an area of . It is one of the most densely populated municipalities in the state of São Paulo. History Before the first white man arrived, the region which today is Carapicuíba was inhabited by indigenous people. Gaetano Grieco
Gaetano Grieco (born 7 November 1982) is an Italian footballer who plays as a forward. Club career Genoa Born in Naples, Campania, Grieco started his career at Ligurian side Geona. In the late 1990s (in the 1999–2000 season or earlier) he was sold to Parma in a co-ownership deal but was loaned back to Genoa. Grieco made his debut on 12 September 1999, coming on as a substitute for Alessandro Manetti in the 82nd minute against Pescara. Genoa lost the match 1–2. Matuzalém Francelino da Silva (born 10 June 1980), commonly known as just Matuzalém, is a Brazilian football manager and former player, who played as a midfielder. Club career Early career Matuzalém began his career at Salvador-based Vitória and quickly established his place in lower level of the Brazil national team. Described as a "goalscoring midfielder" by Eurosport, he first emerged in the 1997 FIFA World Youth Championship in Egypt. Simone Barone (; born 30 April 1978) is an Italian football manager and former player, who played as a midfielder. He played for several Italian clubs throughout his career, before coming to prominence with Palermo. Emanuele Calaiò (born 8 January 1982) is a former Italian footballer who played as a striker. Club career Calaiò started his football career at Torino making his league debut against Reggina on 6 January 2000, he scored a goal for Torino three minutes into his debut. He made 20 league appearances in total for Torino. In January 2002 Calaiò was exchanged with Alessandro Cibocchi of Ternana with inflated price tag to create a paper profit for both clubs (for which Ternana was fined in 2010, 8 years later) and then a short spell with Messina followed. AC Bellinzona is a Swiss football club based in Bellinzona. It was founded in 1904, and won the Swiss Super League in 1948. After being folded in 2013 declaring bankruptcy, the team played the Ticino Group of 2.Liga, the sixth tier of the Swiss Football League System in 2014–15 season. After winning it and the 1. 2002–03 Serie B
The 2002–03 Serie B was the 71st season since its establishment in 1929. It is the second highest football league in Italy. Teams Livorno, Ascoli, Triestina and Catania had been promoted from Serie C, while Hellas Verona, Lecce, and Venezia had been relegated from Serie A and Fiorentina had lost their national professional licence. Final classification In June 2003, Catania was at the centre of a controversy that led to the enlargement of Serie B from 20 to 24 teams, known as ''Caso Catania''. The club claimed that Siena fielded an ineligible player in a 1–1 tie, a result which saw Catania relegated, whereas the two extra points from a victory would have kept them safe.
