Parminder Singh Dhull (born 4 March 1957) is an Indian politician of the State of Haryana, India. He remained as Member of Legislative Assembly of Haryana from Julana constituency of Jind District till he resigned as such on 25 June 2019. He contested on Bhartiya Janta Party ticket in 2019 Haryana Assembly Elections but failed to retain his seat. He resigned from Bhartiya Janta Party on 20 October 2020 in protest of the Farmers Bills introduced by Government of India. His father Chaudhary Dal Singh was a former minister and a freedom fighter. Vinesh Phogat (; born 25 August 1994) is an Indian politician and former wrestler, who is a current member of the Legislative Assembly (MLA) in Haryana. She won the 2024 assembly election from Julana constituency representing the Indian National Congress. Previously as a wrestler, she was a former Asian Champion and multiple-gold medalist of Commonwealth Games, with her wins in 2014, 2018, and 2022. In her wrestling career, Phogat achieved a milestone when she won the gold medal in the 2018 Asian Games and became the first Indian woman wrestler to win a gold medal at both the Commonwealth and Asian Games. The Jannayak Janta Party, abbreviated as, JJP is an Indian state-level political party in Haryana, India. JJP is a recognized state political party. JJP was founded on 9 December 2018 by Dushyant Chautala with the ideology of Devi Lal, who served as Deputy Prime Minister of India. Formation JJP emerged from a split in the Indian National Lok Dal (INLD) which itself had been cause by infighting among the Chautala family.
