Amandaland
''Amandaland'' is a 2025 British comedy series. It is a spin-off from British comedy series ''Motherland'' with Lucy Punch reprising the role of Amanda. The series also stars Joanna Lumley as her mother Felicity. It was broadcast on BBC One from 5 February 2025. In March 2025, the BBC confirmed that Amandaland will be returning for a second series. Synopsis Recently divorced Amanda must navigate parenting teenagers in new surroundings after downsizing and moving to South Harlesden in London. Helen Serafinowicz is an English writer and producer. Career Serafinowicz started out as a producer on Cartoon Network. Serafinowicz created and co-wrote the musical science-fiction television series ''Nova Jones'', about an 18-year-old popstar on a concert tour throughout the galaxy. The show ran for three series and aired on CBBC. From 2016 to 2022, Serafinowicz was part of the writing team of the BBC comedy series ''Motherland'', with Sharon Horgan, Holly Walsh and Barunka O'Shaughnessy. Motherland (British TV Series)
''Motherland'' is a British sitcom set in West London, which explores the trials of middle-class motherhood. A pilot episode, written by Graham Linehan, Sharon Horgan, Helen Serafinowicz and Holly Walsh was first broadcast on BBC Two on 6 September 2016 as part of its "Sitcom Season". The BBC subsequently ordered a full series of six episodes, the first of which aired on 7 November 2017. The second series was released on BBC iPlayer on 7 October 2019. The third series began transmission on BBC2 on 10 May 2021, with all five episodes being released on BBC iPlayer the same day. In the United States, the show is broadcast on Sundance TV.
