Alyssa Reid
Alyssa Ashley Reid (born March 15, 1993) is a Canadian singer-songwriter. Her career began in 2008 on ''The Next Star''. She rose to fame in 2011, following the release of her single " Alone Again". From 2018-2020, she released music under the name ASHS. Early life Reid was born in Edmonton, Alberta, and raised in Brampton, Ontario. Her family moved around Canada often. Reid stated that it gave her the life experience she needed to enter the music industry. She is of Irish, Ukrainian and Greek heritage. She wrote her first song at the age of 7 and started vocal lessons at the age of 9. From then on, she has continued to develop her voice into what has become a singular vocal style. Calgary Stampede
The Calgary Stampede is an annual rodeo, exhibition, and festival held every July in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. Neverest was a Canadian pop-rock band from Toronto, Ontario. The band was formed by Spyros "Spee" Chalkiotis and Mike Klose. It is the title track of the album and the album's second single, as well as Alyssa's second most famous single, beat out by her previous single " Alone Again", officially released May 31, 2011. It was preceded by the album's lead single, "Alone Again", featuring P. Reign, which heavily sampled the 1987 Heart song "Alone", except included new verses and rap. "The Game" samples parts of the new verses of "Alone Again". A radio edit was made of the song, which replaced the parts sampled from "Alone Again" and replaced them with new, original material. ''The Next Star'' was a Canadian reality competition television series that was broadcast on YTV. It was hosted by Adamo Ruggiero (seasons 1–5) and Carlos Bustamante (season 6–7). The series involved a competition to find the most talented singer in Canada who is aged 15 years or younger, with the winner crowned "the next star".
