Altaf Hossain Golandaz
Altaf Hossain Gulandaz (15 August 1947 – 17 February 2007) was a Bangladesh Awami League politician and member of parliament from Mymensingh-10 for three terms. Career Gulandaz was elected upazila chairman in 1989. He was elected to parliament in 1991, 1996, and 2001 from Mymensingh-10 as a Bangladesh Awami League candidate. He boycotted the parliament during the 15th session of the Bangladesh Nationalist Party rule. Personal life and death Altaf Gulandaz was married to Mahmuda Anam. In July 2004, she alleged that her husband threw her out of home with two sons for failing to meet his insatiable demand of dowry. They had two sons and a daughter, Fuad Gulandaz Joglu, Fahmi Gulandaz Babel and Anjum Gulandaz; a member parliament elected from the same constituency during 2014–2024. Anjum Gulandaz
Eanjum () is a village in the Dutch province of Friesland. It is located in the municipality Noardeast-Fryslân and had, as of January 2017, a population of 1136. History The village was first mentioned in 944 as Anigheim, and means "settlement of the people of Ane". Eanjum was a ''terp'' (artificial living mound) with a radial structure which probably dated several centuries Before Christ. Fahmi Gulandaz Babel (born 9 September 1976) is a Bangladesh Awami League politician and a former Jatiya Sangsad member representing the Mymensingh-10 constituency from where his father was elected 3 times. Gias Uddin Ahmed (9 May 1954 – 5 September 2022) was a politician of Awami League, officer of the Bangladesh Army and member of parliament for Mymensingh-10. Career Ahmed fought in the Bangladesh War of Independence. Ahmed was arrested in 1981 for being involved in the assassination of Ziaur Rahman, president of Bangladesh. Ahmed was elected to Parliament in 2008 from Mymensingh-10 as an Awami League candidate. He had received 142,126 votes while his nearest rival from the Bangladesh Nationalist Party, Fazlur Rahman Sultan, had received 71,511 votes.
