Roni Alsheikh
Roni Alsheikh (or Roni Alsheich, he, רוני אלשיך, born 20 March 1963) is an Israeli former intelligence officer and head of the Israel Police. After serving as an officer in the Israel Defense Forces, Alsheikh joined Shin Bet and rose to become its deputy head before being appointed General Commissioner of the Israel Police, serving in the role from 2015 to 2018. Biography Alsheikh was born in 1963 in Jerusalem. His father, Avraham Alsheikh, was a Yemenite-Jewish immigrant who came to Israel as part of Operation Magic Carpet, and his mother, Ahuva Amar, was born in Jerusalem to a family of Moroccan-Jewish origin. He lived in Jerusalem until age 8, when his family moved to Kiryat Arba, an Israeli settlement in the West Bank. Ola Alsheikh
Ola Alsheikh, also known as Ola Abbas Alsheikh Omer (, born in Omdurman, Sudan), is a Sudanese freelance documentary photographer. She is mainly known for her pictures of everyday life and social events in Khartoum. In her work, she has placed a special focus on images of women and girls, as well as on the social and ethnic diversity in Sudan. Life and career Alsheikh was born in Omdurman, Sudan, and grew up in Germany, Saudi Arabia and Sudan. She holds a degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Khartoum. According to a report by BBC News, as a female photographer she has encountered mockery or even harassment, while taking photographs in the streets of Khartoum. She attributes this negative attitude to the fact that people in Khartoum are not used to seeing a woman with a camera in the streets. Moshe Alsheikh
Moshe Alshich he, משה אלשיך, also spelled Alshech, (1508–1593), known as the ''Alshich Hakadosh (the Holy)'', was a prominent rabbi, preacher, and biblical commentator in the latter part of the sixteenth century. The Alshich was born in 1508 in the Ottoman Empire, and was the son of Hayyim Alshich. He later moved to Safed (now in Israel) where he became a student of Rabbi Joseph Caro. His students included Rabbi Hayim Vital and Rabbi Yom Tov Tzahalon. He died in Safed in 1593. Significance Only a few rabbis were granted the title "''Hakadosh''" throughout Jewish history. Alongside the Alshich were the '' Shelah HaKadosh'', the '' Ari HaKadosh'' and the '' Ohr HaChaim HaKadosh'', all of them distinctive personalities in their times.
