Alphabeat
Alphabeat are a Danish pop band from Silkeborg, fronted by singers Stine Bramsen and Anders Stig Gehrt Nielsen. Their single " Fascination" was a major hit in Denmark during the summer of 2006, as well as the United Kingdom in 2008. Their 2007 eponymous debut album reached number two in Denmark and was certified Platinum. Following its wide release in Europe in 2008, retitled '' This Is Alphabeat'', it reached number ten in the UK and was certified Gold in the region. The album also contains their first number one hit in Denmark, " 10.000 Nights of Thunder". In 2009, Alphabeat released the album '' The Spell''; the song of the same name was a number one hit in Denmark. ''The Spell'' was reissued as ''The Beat Is...'' in the UK in 2010. ''Alphabeat'' is the debut studio album by Danish band Alphabeat. It was first released in Denmark on 5 March 2007 by Copenhagen Records, and eventually in the rest of Europe in 2008 under the title ''This Is Alphabeat'' by the revived Charisma Records with an alternative track listing. In June 2018, ''This is Alphabeat'' was re-released exclusively on vinyl, in celebration of the album's 10th anniversary. Release ''Alphabeat'' was first released in Denmark on 5 March 2007. In 2008, the album was widely released in Europe, retitled ''This is Alphabeat''. The European release features remixes of several of the album's tracks in favor of the originals: "Boyfriend", "Rubber Boots/Mackintosh" (retitled "Rubber Boots"), and "Nothing But My Baby" were all remixed for the release. Don't Know What's Cool Anymore
''Don't Know What's Cool Anymore'' is the fourth and final studio album by Danish band Alphabeat, their first since 2012's ''Express Non-Stop''. It was released on 1 November 2019 by Warner Music Denmark and is distributed by Absolute Label Services in the UK and Atlantic Records in the US. Background and promotion Singles After a 6-year hiatus, Alphabeat announced their return on 1 March 2019 with the single "Shadows". At the same time, they announced plans for a fourth studio album, citing a release window of October 2019. In Denmark, "Shadows" reached number 19 on the singles chart and was certified Gold. ''The Spell'' is the second studio album by Danish band Alphabeat. It was released on 26 October 2009 by Copenhagen Records. Alphabeat stated their second album would be a departure from the pop roots of their debut studio album, ''Alphabeat'' (2007), in favour of dance acts from the 1990s such as Snap! and Black Box, with band member Anders SG saying the title track was particularly inspired by Black Box's 1990 song "I Don't Know Anybody Else". Fascination (Alphabeat Song)
"Fascination" is the first single released by Danish pop group Alphabeat. It was first released in Denmark on 6 June 2006, followed by a worldwide release on 16 May 2008. The song reached number 6 on the UK Singles Chart. It was used as the music for a Coca-Cola advert. In Turkey, the song was used in an advertising campaign for Coca-Cola Zero, in Germany and Belgium for Coca-Cola Light.
