Almost Gold
Almost Gold Recordings is an independent record label. It was founded in 2007 in New York City by Scott Rodger of Quest Management with distribution in North America through Columbia Records. The first release on Almost Gold was the Peter Bjorn and John album ''Writer's Block'', on February 6, 2007. Almost Gold is now fully independent in North America having severed ties with Columbia Records. Almost Gold Recordings is a partnership between Scott Rodger and Clare Britt (formerly of Rough Trade and Island Records), with distribution Worldwide through Mercury Records. Black Kids are an American indie rock band. Formed in Jacksonville, Florida, in 2006, the group consists of singer/guitarist Reggie Youngblood, keyboardists/backup singers Ali Youngblood and Dawn Watley, bassist Owen Holmes, and drummer Kevin Snow. The Black Kids' debut EP, '' Wizard of Ahhhs'', received favorable critical response in 2007, and was followed by the '' Partie Traumatic'' album, which debuted at number five on the UK Albums Chart in July 2008. Wild Light is an American four-piece indie rock band from New Hampshire, United States, composed of multi-instrumentalists/vocalists Tim Kile and Seth Pitman, guitarist/vocalist Jordan Alexander, and drummer Seth Kasper. The band formed in 2005 and released its first full-length album, ''Adult Nights'', in March 2009. Kile is a former member of the Canadian band, Arcade Fire. Walter Meego was an American electronic pop band based in Chicago, Illinois. History Walter Meego was formed in 2004 by Justin Sconza (guitar, keyboards, and vocals), Pat Pellegrini, and Colin Yarck (production) in the basement of Pellegrini's house. Pellegrini left the band in 2005. Andrew Adzemovic joined the group in 2007 as a guitarist and vocalist. They released a series of EPs before their debut album "Voyager," which was released in May 2008. is a Japanese singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist, who debuted in May 2004 in America with his album ''Night Piece''. He creates every aspect of his music, including the lyrics, music, arrangements, recording and mixing. He is known for the variety of instruments he uses in his music, using over 100 different traditional and non-traditional instruments in his recordings. Tokumaru is also a member of the Japanese rock band Gellers. Tokumaru's 2010 album '' Port Entropy'' was his most commercially successful album in Japan, breaking into the top 40.
