Churwalden is a municipality in the Plessur Region in the canton of Graubünden in Switzerland. It incorporates the former municipalities of Malix and Parpan. Scharans ''( Romansh: Scharons)'' is a municipality in the Viamala Region in the Swiss canton of Graubünden. History Scharans is first mentioned in 1200 as ''agrum Schraunis''. Geography Scharans has an area, , of . Of this area, 26.1% is used for agricultural purposes, while 62% is forested.
