Ally Brazil
Ally (Benny) Brazil (born 10 December 1958) is a Scottish former footballer, who played over 200 league games for Hibernian. He played in all three games of the marathon 1979 Scottish Cup Final, which Hibs lost in extra time of the second replay. He played in the Hamilton Academical side that knocked Rangers out the Scottish Cup in 1987. He then went on and played for Forfar Athletic and played the best football of his career under a few different managers. He later dropped in to the junior ranks playing for Armadale, Bonnyrigg Rose and Stoneyburn. He also was coach to local amateur side Balerno Athletic for many years. He later went on to work as a bus driver for Lothian Buses. Currie
Currie ( gd, Currach, IPA: �kʰuːᵲəx is a village and suburb on the outskirts of Edinburgh, Scotland, situated south west of the city centre. Formerly within the County of Midlothian, it now falls within the jurisdiction of the City of Edinburgh Council. It is situated between Juniper Green to the northeast and Balerno to the southwest. It gives its name to a civil parish. In 2001, the population of Currie was 8,550 and it contained 3,454 houses. Etymology The name is recorded from 1210 onwards under various spellings such as ''Curey'', ''Cory'', ''Curri'' with ''Currie'' in 1402. There is no accepted derivation of the name Currie but it is possibly from the Scottish Gaelic word ''curagh/curragh'', a wet or boggy plain, or from the Brythonic word ''curi'', a dell or dirt hole. Stenhousemuir F
Stenhousemuir (; gd, Featha Thaigh nan Clach) is a town in the Central Lowlands of Scotland. It lies within the Falkirk council area of Scotland. The town is north-northwest of Falkirk and directly adjoins to Larbert in the west, where the nearest rail access is located. The villages of Carron and Carronshore adjoin Stenhousemuir to the east but to a lesser extent. At the 2001 census it showed that it had a resident population of 10,351 but according to a 2009 estimate this was revised to around 10,190 residents. The combined population of the four localities in 2011 was 24,722, representing about 15% of the Falkirk council area total. In 2008, a £15 million town centre development scheme was completed and opened which provided a new civic square, a library and large retailing outlets for Stenhousemuir. Arbroath () or Aberbrothock ( gd, Obar Bhrothaig ) is a former royal burgh and the largest town in the council area of Angus, Scotland, with a population of 23,902. It lies on the North Sea coast some ENE of Dundee and SSW of Aberdeen. There is evidence of Iron Age settlement, but its history as a town began with the founding of Arbroath Abbey in 1178. It grew much during the Industrial Revolution through the flax and then the jute industry and the engineering sector. In the sport of association football, a defender is an outfield position whose primary role is to stop attacks during the game and prevent the opposition from scoring. The 1979 Scottish Cup Final was contested between Rangers and Hibernian. After goalless draws in the initial match and the replay, Rangers won the Cup by winning 3–2 after extra time in the second replay.
