Alltag
''Alltag'', released in 2003 by Turkish-German director Neco Celik, is a film depicting life in the neighborhood of Kreuzberg. The film has particular significance in the arena of Turkish-German hip-hop and hip-hop life in the neighborhood. Celik was born in 1972 and grew up in the neighborhood of Kreuzberg, and was directly influenced by the presence of hip hop and gang culture in Kreuzberg. Some people see the film as testament to the Americanization of cultures in Europe and a report from the "frontlines". The film is not only evidence of the prevalence of hip hop in ethnic minorities in Germany, but the popularity of hip hop in Germany. Early life Kida Khodr Ramadan was born in 1976 in Beirut, Lebanon, the fifth child of a Lebanese father and a Turkish mother. His father, Mohamad Ramadan, was a successful businessman representing Persil Lebanon. As the Lebanese Civil War worsened—particularly in East Beirut, where they lived—relatives were killed and Mohamad was injured by shrapnel, prompting the family to flee. Kreuzberg () is a district of Berlin, Germany. It is part of the Friedrichshain-Kreuzberg borough located south of Berlin-Mitte, Mitte. During the Cold War era, it was one of the poorest areas of West Berlin, but since German reunification in 1990, it has undergone significant gentrification and is now known for its vibrant arts scene. Florian Panzner (born 20 July 1976) is a German actor who has been active since 1999. Life and career Panzner studied at the University of Film and Television Potsdam-Babelsberg. Neco Celik
Manoel Nunes (March 7, 1895 – May 31, 1977), also known as Neco, was an association football midfielder and striker. With great skill and tenacity, he was the first idol of Corinthians, being the first player to get a statue in the team's gardens (in 1929). As of 2006, Neco is the player who played the longest for Corinthians: 17 years. Called often to the Brazil national team, he won two South American Championships: 1919 (team's top scorer) and 1922 (top scorer). Playing for Corinthians, he won the Paulista League eight times as a player (being top scorer in 1914 and 1920) and once as a coach (1937).
