Alli Ragan
Alli Ragan (born June 16, 1992) is an American freestyle wrestler. She is a two-time silver medalist at the World Wrestling Championships. Career In 2013, Ragan represented the United States at the Summer Universiade and she won the silver medal in the women's 59 kg event. Ragan won the silver medal in the women's freestyle 60 kg event at the 2016 World Wrestling Championships held in Budapest, Hungary and in that same event at the 2017 World Wrestling Championships The 2017 World Wrestling Championships were the 14th edition of World Wrestling Championships of combined events and was held from August 21 to 27 in Paris, France. Amateur wrestling is a variant of wrestling practiced in collegiate, school, or other amateur level competitions. There are two international wrestling styles performed in the Olympic Games: freestyle and Greco-Roman. 2013 Summer Universiade
The 2013 Summer Universiade, officially known as the XXVII Summer Universiade (russian: XXVII Летняя Универсиада), was held in the city of Kazan, Russia, the most northerly city ever to host a Summer Universiade. Over 10,400 university athletes from 162 countries participated in 13 mandatory and 14 optional sports, making the 2013 Universiade the biggest ever in the history of the event. For the first time in history a Cultural Universiade was also included, with many festivals and shows held simultaneously with the sporting events. The Universiade was organized by the International University Sports Federation (FISU) and by the authorities of the Russian Federation.
