Allemandi Case
The Allemandi case was one of the major scandals in the history of Football in Italy, Italian soccer and one of the first in order of time, having occurred before the establishment of the “one-round” Serie A (1929). The case involved the revocation of the ''Scudetto'' won by Torino FC, Torino in the 1926-1927 season and has been the subject of debate due to ambiguities in the available documentation. The controversial outcome of the court case led, in the following decades, to several attempts to reopen the investigation into the matter, but so far all were unsuccessful. Pietro Mario Pastore, also known as Piero Pastore (3 April 1903 – 8 January 1968) was an Italian professional footballer who played as a striker; he later became an actor. ''Calciopoli'' () was a sports scandal in Italy's top professional association football league Serie A, and to a lesser extent, Serie B. The scandal centered on the manipulation of referee appointments to favor certain clubs during the 2004-05 and 2005-06 seasons. It was uncovered in May 2006, when a number of telephone tappings showed relations between clubs' executives and referee organizations, being accused of selecting favourable referees. Federico Munerati (; 20 September 1901 – 26 July 1980) was an Italian footballer who played as a forward or as a midfielder. Club career Born in La Spezia, Italy, Munerati played most of his career with Italian club Juventus (1922–33), where he won four Italian league titles during his nine seasons with the Turin side.
