Allama Syed Tasawar Jawadi
Syed Tasawar Hussain Naqvi Jawadi (Urdu: ; 9 January 1976 – 13 June 2023) was a Pakistani Shia scholar from Azad Kashmir, renowned for fostering unity among the Muslims of the region, served as the former President (Secretary General) of Majlis Wahdat-e-Muslimeen Pakistan, Azad Kashmir, Sub-Supervision Member of Imamia Students Organization Azad Kashmir Division and was a member of the Ulama Mushaikh Council of Azad Kashmir. Early life Syed Tasawar Hussain Naqvi Jawadi was born on 9 January 1976 in a village of Muzaffarabad, Azad Kashmir. His family belongs to Naqvi branch of Syeds. Raja Nasir Abbas Jafri () is a Pakistani politician and member of the Senate of Pakistan from Punjab. He is a Shia Muslim and the head of the Majlis Wahdat-e-Muslimeen (MWM). Political career Jafri is a Shia Muslim who advocates for good Shia-Sunni relations. Tehreek-e-Jafaria ( ur, ; TJP ; en, Movement of Shia Law) was a Shia political party, which was founded in 1979 by Syed Arif Hussain Al Hussaini.Its creation coincided with the enforcement of controversial Islamic laws by then President of Pakistan, General Mohammad Zia-ul-Haq. History During the British Raj, the British Indian Army troops depended for their medical treatment entirely on their regimental hospitals. In October 1918, Station Hospitals were sanctioned for the Indian troops. Bagh City ( ur, ) is the chief town and district headquarters of Bagh District, in Azad Kashmir, Pakistan. The town is situated on the confluence of two nullahs (streams), Malwani and Mahl (ماہلوانی اور ماہل) at the distance of 93 km from Muzaffarabad. 2005 earthquake On 8 October 2005, Bagh was hit by a devastating earthquake that killed 8,500 people, which represented 10% of the population. Most of the victims were children attending school who died when the school buildings collapsed.
