All-EuroLeague 2nd Team
The All-EuroLeague Team is an award for Europe's premier level league, the EuroLeague, that is given to the league's top ten basketball players for each season, since the 2000–01 season. During the FIBA era of the EuroLeague, players were honored first by being a part of the FIBA Festival, and later by being selected to the FIBA EuroStars. Under FIBA, the EuroLeague also originally featured a EuroLeague Final Four Team selection, which was a forerunner of the All-EuroLeague Team award, and which consisted of the five best players of the EuroLeague Final Four. In a year in which European professional club basketball was divided between the Euroleague Basketball-organized 2000–01 EuroLeague, and the FIBA-organized 2000–01 FIBA SuproLeague, it was the Euroleague Basketball organized competition that selected the inaugural All-EuroLeague Team. EuroLeague Awards
EuroLeague awards were established in the 1987–88 FIBA European Champions Cup, 1987–88 season, when the EuroLeague's modern era and the EuroLeague Final Four first began. More awards were created starting with the 2000–01 basketball season, when Euroleague Basketball Company essentially took over the management of European professional basketball club system, the premier level European competition from FIBA Europe. EuroLeague awards EuroLeague Full Season MVP The EuroLeague MVP, EuroLeague Full Season MVP award began in the 2004–05 Euroleague, 2004–05 season. Point Guard
The point guard (PG), also called the one or the point, is one of the Basketball positions, five positions in a regulation basketball game. A point guard has perhaps the most specialized role of any position and is usually the shortest player on the court. Point guards are expected to control the pace of the game. They effectively "run" the team's offense by controlling the ball and making sure that it gets to the right player at the right time. Generally, point guards are expected to be proficient in passing the ball and being able to get Assist (basketball), assists to teammates. In a pick and roll offense, the point guard typically moves off of screens to facilitate the ball to a Power forward, big. Likewise, point guards can also shoot off of screens if given separation. In transition, the point guard must be able to pass and handle the ball without committing excessive turnovers. Jemeil Rich
Jemeil de Juan Rich (born January 31, 1975) is a retired American professional basketball player. Pro career After graduating from the Southern Methodist University in 1997, he was successful in international play, spending several seasons in Europe, including periods of time spent on teams in France, Switzerland, and Germany. He never got a chance to play in the NBA, although he participated in an Orlando Magic preseason game in 2004. His performances in the Euroleague earned him a spot on the All-Euroleague Second Team in the Euroleague 2000-01 season, while he was playing for the Lugano Snakes. Rich played for the Gary Steelheads of the Continental Basketball Association (CBA) from 2002 to 2005. Scaligera Basket Verona
Scaligera Basket Verona, known for sponsorship reasons as Tezenis Verona, is an Italian professional basketball club based in Verona, Italy. It competes in the LBA. History 1951–1982: Decades within the minor leagues Scaligera Basket was founded in Verona in 1951. From 1951 until 1971, Scaligera took part in local and regional competitions within the minor leagues of Italian basketball. Louis "Lou" Bullock Jr. (born May 20, 1976) is an American former professional basketball player. Although his records have officially been vacated, due to the University of Michigan basketball scandal, his vacated records are unsurpassed for most single-season three-point field goals and career free throws in Michigan Wolverines men's basketball. The 2024–25 Turkish Airlines EuroLeague was the 25th season of the modern era of the EuroLeague, and the 15th under the title sponsorship of Turkish Airlines. Including the competition's previous incarnation as the FIBA Europe Champions Cup, this is the 68th season of the premier basketball competition for European men's clubs. EuroLeague MVP
The EuroLeague MVP, or EuroLeague Regular Season MVP, is the EuroLeague awards, award bestowed to the player that is deemed to be the "Most valuable player, Most Valuable Player" during the regular season of the EuroLeague. The EuroLeague is the European professional club basketball system, top-tier level European-wide men's professional club basketball league in Europe. The award has existed and been awarded by the EuroLeague since the Euroleague 2004-05, 2004–05 season. An Internet Protocol address (IP address) is a numerical label such as that is assigned to a device connected to a computer network that uses the Internet Protocol for communication. The 2011–12 Turkish Airlines Euroleague was the 12th season of the modern era of Euroleague and the second under the title sponsorship of Turkish Airlines. Including the competition's previous incarnation as the FIBA Europe Champions Cup, this was the 55th season of the premier competition for European men's clubs.
