Alistair Smith (English Footballer)
Alistair Oluwashaun Smith (born 19 May 1999) is an English professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for club AFC Wimbledon. Career A product of Mansfield Town's academy, Smith spent loan spells at Loughborough Dynamo and Frickley Athletic. He made his first-team debut for Mansfield on 13 November 2018, in the Football League Trophy, and signed a new 18-month contract with the club in January 2019. He made his first appearance of the 2019–20 season on 13 August 2019, in the EFL Cup. He joined Kettering Town on a one-month loan on 31 January 2020. In November 2020 he moved on loan to National League side Altrincham. After making eleven league appearances for the Robins, Smith joined Altrincham on a permanent basis on 15 January 2021 by signing an 18-month contract with the club. Beverley
Beverley is a market town and civil parish in the East Riding of Yorkshire, England. It is located north-west of Hull city centre. At the 2021 census the built-up area of the town had a population of 30,930, and the smaller civil parish had a population of 18,014. It is the county town of the East Riding of Yorkshire. The town was founded in the seventh century by John of Beverley, who established a church in the area. It was originally named ''Inderawuda'', and was part of the Anglian kingdom of Northumbria. The 2020–21 National League season, known as the Vanarama National League for sponsorship reasons, was the sixth season under English football's new title of the National League, the seventeenth season consisting of three divisions, and the forty-second season overall. The 2019–20 National League season, known as the Vanarama National League for sponsorship reasons, was the fifth season under English football's new title of National League, the sixteenth season consisting of three divisions, and the forty-first season overall. As a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, the National League season was initially suspended on 16 March 2020 until at least 3 April. On 31 March, this suspension was extended indefinitely until further notice. On 22 April, clubs voted to end the season, with promotions and relegations still "under careful consideration".
