Alish Lemberanskiy
Alish Jamil oglu Lambaranski (Azerbaijani language, Azeri: ''Əliş Cəmil oğlu Ləmbəranski;'' May 23, 1914 – May 1, 1999) was a Soviet Union, Soviet and Azerbaijani politician, statesman and mayor of Baku. Biography Alish Lemberanskiy was born on May 23, 1914, in Lənbəran, Lemberan village of Barda District, Barda in the family of traumatic-surgeon and Orthopedic surgery, orthopedist Jamil bey Lambaranski. He graduated from Oil field, oil-field faculty of Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University, Azerbaijan State Oil Academy. At the age of 27 Lemberanskiy was assigned the position of director of Oil refinery, petroleum refinery. During the Eastern Front (World War II), Great Patriotic War he went to the war voluntarily. At the beginning of 1943, Lemberanskiy was seriously wounded in the battles of Rostov, Yaroslavl Oblast, Rostov. Baku State Circus () is the main arena circus of Baku, capital of Azerbaijan. History In the 1890s, Nikitin's brothers opened a first circus-zoo in Baku. In 1904, they built the first Circus-building in the East on the intersection of Nizami street and Bul-Bul Avenue - in the place of the present Nasimi garden. But it burned in 1906. In 1916, Yefimovs built another circus building in the place of the destroyed circus-building of Nikitin's brothers. The gondola (, ; , ) is a traditional, flat-bottomed Venetian rowing boat, well suited to the conditions of the Venetian lagoon. It is typically propelled by a gondolier, who uses a rowing oar, which is not fastened to the hull, in a sculling manner, and also acts as the rudder. The uniqueness of the gondola includes its being asymmetrical along the length, making the single-oar propulsion more efficient.
