On December 7, 2023, a mass shooting occurred at Bryansk school in Bryansk, Bryansk Oblast, Russia. One student was killed and five others were wounded before the shooter, Alina Afanaskina, committed suicide. Shooting A message about a shooting at Gymnasium No. 5 was received by the city dispatch service at 9:15 Moscow time. Afanaskina hid a Bekas-3 shotgun belonging to her father in a paper tube and had a knife tucked into her right boot while walking to school. Afanaskina entered a biology classroom on the fourth floor and fired several shots. The shooting resulted in two fatalities, including the perpetrator, and five injuries. One of the injured individuals was in serious condition, while the other four sustained moderate injuries. Kerch Polytechnic College Massacre
The Kerch Polytechnic College massacre took place in Kerch, Crimea, on 17 October 2018. It was a school shooting and School bombing, bombing attack perpetrated by an 18-year-old student, Vladislav Roslyakov, who killed 20 people and wounded 67 others before committing suicide. On 14 November 2019, a shooting occurred at the Amur College of Construction, Housing and Utilities in Blagoveshchensk, Amur Oblast, Russia. One student was killed and three others were injured. The perpetrator committed suicide. Kazan School Shooting
On 11 May 2021, a school shooting and bomb attack occurred in Kazan, Tatarstan, in the western part of Russia. On 20 September 2021, a mass shooting occurred at Perm State University, in the city of Perm, Perm Krai, Russia. Six people were killed and 47 others were injured. Krasnoyarsk Kindergarten Shooting
On 28 March 2022, 19-year-old Polina Dvorkina went to kindergarten No. 31 in Krasnoyarsk, Russia, where she planned to kill the male students. On 26 April 2022, three people were killed in a school shooting at a kindergarten in Veshkayma, Ulyanovsk Oblast, Russia.
