Alimuddin Ahmad
Syed Alimuddin Ahmad (; 1884 - 1920), popularly known as Master Saheb (), was a Bengali bodybuilder and wrestler. He participated in the anti-British independence movement as an underground activist and revolutionary, as a part of the ''Dhaka Mukti Sangha'' organisation. Ahmed rose to prominence after the organisation was absorbed into Subhas Chandra Bose's Bengal Volunteers during the mayorship of Chittaranjan Das in Calcutta. Early life and family Syed Alimuddin Ahmad was born in 1884 to a Bengali Muslim family in Ashiq Jamadar Lane, Dhaka. His father, Syed Amiruddin, was a tailor by profession and owned a small tailoring shop. He and his siblings were educated in the local primary school and then at madrasas, which was why he was often referred to by the titles of Munshi or Moulvi by his comrades. Alimuddin (cricketer)
Alimuddin (Urdu: علیم الدین; 15 December 1930 – 12 July 2012) was a Pakistani cricketer who played 25 Tests for Pakistan between 1954 and 1962. His name is sometimes rendered Alim-ud-Din. A fast-scoring, right-handed opening batsman and occasional right-arm leg break bowler, he was the youngest player ever to appear in first-class cricket, aged 12 years and 73 days. In international cricket, he scored 1,091 runs at the average of 25.37, including two centuries and seven fifties. In 1954, he was a member of the Pakistani squad which toured England and recorded Pakistan's first Test match win. Former Pakistani captain Mushtaq Mohammad said about him that he was "a thorough gentleman as well as a great cricketer for Pakistan". Mohammad Alim Uddin (14 February 1940 – 18 August 2015) was a Bangladesh Awami League politician, freedom fighter and the former member of parliament of Rangpur-4. He was elected at the first national parliamentary election in 1973. Birth and early life Muhammad Alim Uddin was born on 14 February 1940 at Syedpur upazilla in Nilphamari district of Bengal Presidency of British India (present Bangladesh). Sir Alimuddin Zumla (born 15 May 1955) is a British-Zambian professor of infectious diseases and international health at University College London Medical School, and a Consultant Infectious Diseases physician at UCLHospitals NHS Foundation Trust, London, UK. He specialises in infectious and tropical diseases, clinical immunology, and internal medicine, with a special interest in HIV/AIDS, respiratory infections (including COVID-19 and Tuberculosis), pathogens with epidemic potential and diseases of poverty. Azim Ud-Din I
Muhammad Azim ud-Din I (, Jawi: محمدعلیم الدیند; also Muhammad Alimuddin, Christian name: Don Fernando de Alimuddin) was Sultan of Sulu from 1735 to 1748, and again from 1764 until his abdication in 1774. He was briefly converted to Christianity under the name Fernando. Early life The young Alimuddin initially attended the school of his father, Badar ud-Din I, and was later sent to Batavia, Dutch East Indies, to complete his education. There he became proficient in Arabic and Malay, and gained mastery of the Qur'an.
