Players Luis Báez Luis Alexander Báez (born January 11, 2004) is a Dominican professional baseball outfielder in the Houston Astros organization. Báez signed with the Houston Astros as an international free agent in January 2022. He made his professional debut with the Dominican Summer League Astros. Báez played 2023 with the Florida Complex League Astros and Fayetteville Woodpeckers. He started 2024 with the Asheville Tourists. Minor League Baseball (MiLB) is a professional baseball organization below Major League Baseball (MLB), constituted of teams affiliated with MLB clubs. It was founded on September 5, 1901, in response to the growing dominance of the National League (baseball), National League and American League, as the National Association of Professional Baseball Leagues (NAPBL or NA). Minor League Baseball originated as simply the organization of lower tiers of professional baseball in the United States, comprising clubs that lacked the financial means to compete with the National League and later the American League. Chico Enterprise-Record
The ''Chico Enterprise-Record'' is the daily newspaper of Chico, California. Also known as the E-R, the newspaper was first published in Bidwell Bar, California as the Butte Record in 1853 and is now part of the MediaNews Group corporation, who took control of the paper from Donrey in 1999. Donrey had owned the paper since March 14, 1983. The paper has a circulation of less than 10,000 and also publishes supplements, like "The North Valley Employment Guide", "The Real Estate Guide", "HomeStyle Magazine." Editions of the Enterprise-Record include the '' Oroville Mercury-Register''. Throughout its history as the Enterprise-Record, the newspaper has never missed a scheduled publication day.
