Resurrection
Resurrection or anastasis is the concept of coming back to life after death. Reincarnation is a similar process hypothesized by other religions involving the same person or deity returning to another body. The disappearance of a body is another similar but distinct belief in some religions. With the advent of written records, the earliest known recurrent theme of resurrection was in Egyptian and Canaanite religions, which had cults of dying-and-rising gods such as Osiris and Baal. Ancient Greek religion generally emphasised immortality, but in the mythos, a number of individuals were made physically immortal as they were resurrected from the dead. The universal resurrection of the dead at the end of the world is a standard eschatological belief in the Abrahamic religions. As a religious concept, resurrection is used in two distinct respects: # a belief in the ''individual resurrections'' of individual souls that is current and ongoing (e.g., Christian idealism, realized esch ...

Alien Resurrection (soundtrack)
''Alien Resurrection: Complete Motion Picture Score'' is the official soundtrack album of the 1997 science fiction film ''Alien Resurrection''. Composed by John Frizzell, the soundtrack features themes such as romance and eroticism. Taking seven months to write and record, Frizzell included strange sound elements such as a gong and rub rods, to create a unique score. It was released on November 11, 1997. Reviews Steven McDonald of Allmusic thought it was "A dark and stormy score that fits the cold atmosphere of the film perfectly", awarding 4 out of 5 stars. Matt Peterson of ''Track Sounds'', however, was negative stating, "it is quite disarrayed and incoherent. The lack of any solid thematic material hurts the viability of this music for the film, and destroys its listening potential on CD." John Fallon of JoBlo.com felt it was "An adequate score that supports its whacked out scenes properly." Track listing Personnel *John Frizzell – composer, producer *Artie Kane – co ...

List Of Alien (franchise) Novels
The ''Alien'' / ''Aliens'' literary franchise consists of multiple novels and short stories based on the eponymous film franchise, which began in 1979 with the release of '' Alien''. In the 20th century, all ''Alien''-related novels published were adaptations of pre-existing material. From 1979 up to 1997, Warner Books published novelizations of the first four films in the year of release; 1979, 1986, 1992, and 1997, respectively. The first three novelizations were written by Alan Dean Foster. Throughout the 1990s, Bantam Books published nine novelizations of ''Alien'' comic books published by Dark Horse Comics. After going on a hiatus, the franchise returned in book form in 2005. DH Press—Dark Horse Comics' novel publishing imprint—published six original novels from 2005 to 2008. This marked the first time in the franchise where novels were original stories, rather than adaptations. DH Press' series took place after the events of the fourth film; '' Alien Resurrect ...

Alien 4 (album)
''Alien 4'' is the twentieth studio album by the English space rock group Hawkwind, released in 1995. At the end of 1994, with the group established as a three piece of guitarist Dave Brock, bassist Alan Davey and drummer Richard Chadwick, they felt they were lacking visually in terms of showmanship. Ron Tree, who had been involved with groups in the English free-festival scene, had offered his services and the group accepted them. In addition, guitarist Jerry Richards, another musician involved in the English free-festival scene as a member of the group Tubilah Dog, started contributing to some live dates and recording sessions. This new line-up undertook a 13 date North America tour in April 1995, then recorded a BBC Radio 1 session on 27 July, at Maida Vale Studios. The album was recorded at Rockfield Studios in the summer, and the ''Area S4'' EP featuring a "Roswell Mix" of "Alien (I Am)" was issued. "Death Trap" is a re-recording of the song from their 1978 album ''PXR ...
