Alicia Bellán
Alicia Bellán (10 October 1931 – 10 July 2018) was an Argentine film actress who also worked as a theatre professional and as a television actress during her early career. She graduated at the Universidad Nacional de las Artes during the 1950s and made her film acting debut at the age of 23 through the 1954 film '' Los Ojos llenos de amor''. Alicia also went onto work in notable theatre companies for many decades after the era of late 1970s. She died on 10 July 2018 at the age of 86 in Buenos Aires after a long illness. Career After graduating from the National University of Arts, she worked in the Argentine film industry in the early 1950s. Her debut film was '' Los Ojos llenos de amor'' which was released in 1954. Her last feature film was '' Procesado 1040'' which was released in 1958. She found work as a stage actress. ''The House of the Angel'' () is a 1957 Argentine drama film directed by Leopoldo Torre Nilsson based the novel of the same name by his wife Beatriz Guido, who also co-wrote the screenplay. The film was entered into the 10th Cannes Film Festival, where it competed for the Palme d'Or prize. ''El amor tiene cara de mujer'' is an Argentine telenovela produced by Jacinto Pérez Heredia for Canal 13 and Canal 9 in 1964. Plot The telenovela follows the lives of four women (Bárbara Mujica, Iris Láinez, Delfy de Ortega and Angélica López Gamio) who work in a beauty institute. The Teatro Nacional Cervantes in Buenos Aires is the national stage and comedy theatre of Argentina. Overview Located on Córdoba Avenue and two blocks north of Buenos Aires' renowned opera house, the Colón Theatre, the Cervantes houses three performance halls. The María Guerrero Salon is the theatre's main hall. Its 456 m2 (4,900 ft2) stage features a 12 m (39 ft) rotating circular platform and can be extended by a further 2.7 m (9 ft).
