Alice Bunn
Alice M. Bunn is the International Director at the UK Space Agency. She is Vice Chair of the Council of the European Space Agency and co-chairs the World Economic Forum Future Global Council on Space Technology. Early life and education Bunn is from Beckenham. She attended Shrewsbury High School, Shropshire. She completed GCE Advanced Levels at Shrewsbury Sixth Form College in Maths, Physics and Chemistry and studied metallurgy at the University of Leeds, graduating in 1995. She spent a year in Tampere at the University of Finland. She obtained her PhD in 1998 from the University of Cambridge, where she worked in Metallurgy under the supervision of Lindsay Greer. Shrewsbury High School, Shropshire
Shrewsbury High School is an independent day school for girls from ages 4 - 18 Shrewsbury, Shropshire, England. It is an original member school of the Girls' Day School Trust. History Shrewsbury High School opened as a day school for girls in 1885. In 1893 the rising star Ethel Gavin took over as head. The school had outgrown its site and it moved to its present location on the banks of the River Severn in central Shrewsbury in 1895. Gavin moved on to another headship in 1897. Major Timothy Nigel Peake (born 7 April 1972) is a British Army Air Corps officer, European Space Agency astronaut and a former International Space Station (ISS) crew member.
