Alice Blanchard
Alice Blanchard is an American award-winning suspense novelist whose mission statement is ''"to write fiction that marries the sweeping scope of the thriller with the more personal epiphany of the short story."'' She won the Katherine Anne Porter Prize for Fiction for her book of stories, ''The Stuntman's Daughter''. The American Academy of Arts and Letters is a 300-member honor society whose goal is to "foster, assist, and sustain excellence" in American literature, music, and art.
