Alibi (Eddie Razaz Song)
"Alibi" is a pop / dance song released in 2013 by Swedish singer of Persian origin Eddie Razaz. He had been a contestant in Swedish ''Idol 2009'' finishing sixth and eventually forming the duo REbound! with fellow ''Idol'' contestant Rabih Jaber. After breaking-up, Razaz decided to go on with a solo career. Razaz took part in Melodifestivalen 2013 on 16 February 2013, in a bid to represent Sweden in Eurovision Song Contest 2013 in Malmö, Sweden. The song was co-written by Thomas G:son and Peter Boström and performed by Razaz in the third semi-final leg of the competition, but it failed to move forward to the finale. Eddie Razaz
Eddie Razaz (in Persian ادى رزاز) (full name Ardalan Razaz Rahmati, in Persian اردلان رزاز رحمتى) born on 21 December 1988 in Stockholm, Sweden) is an Iranian-Swedish singer. He was a former participant of Swedish ''Idol 2009'' and finished sixth. Eddie Razaz and Rabih Jaber, yet another ''Idol'' participant, became a duo pop boy band as REbound! in 2010 with a number of hits on the Swedish charts. After split-up of the band in April 2011, Eddie Razaz is continuing as a solo singer. In November 2012 he was signed to Warner Music Sweden. He has done also modelling and was featured in advertisements. The Eurovision Song Contest 2013 was the 58th edition of the Eurovision Song Contest. It took place in Malmö, Sweden, following the country's victory at the with the song "Euphoria" by Loreen. Organised by the European Broadcasting Union (EBU) and host broadcaster Sveriges Television (SVT), the contest was held at Malmö Arena and consisted of two semi-finals on 14 and 16 May, and a final on 18 May 2013. The three live shows were presented by Swedish comedian and television presenter Petra Mede, being the first time only one host had presented the show since the contest. Melodifestivalen 2013 was the Swedish music competition that selected the 53rd Swedish entry for the Eurovision Song Contest 2013. Robin Stjernberg's song "You" won the final, and became the first Second Chance song to win the Melodifestivalen final. The final took place at the Friends Arena on 9 March 2013. For the twelfth consecutive year, the competition consisted of four semifinals, a "second chance" round, and a final. A total of 32 competing entries were divided into four semifinals, with eight compositions in each. From each semifinal, the songs that earned first and second place went directly to the final, while the songs that were placed third and fourth proceeded to the Second Chance semifinal. The bottom four songs in each semifinal were eliminated from the competition.
