Coup Attempts Against Corazon Aquino
From 1986 to 1987, there were several plots to overthrow Philippine President Corazon Aquino involving various members of the Armed Forces of the Philippines. A significant number of the military participants in these attempts belonged to the Reform the Armed Forces Movement (RAM), while others were identified loyalists of former President Ferdinand Marcos, who had been deposed in the People Power Revolution in late February 1986. Two attempts—the November 1986 "God Save the Queen Plot" and the July 1987 plot—were uncovered and quashed by authorities before they could be operationalized. The other plots were repelled with little or no violence, the deadliest being the August 1987 coup attempts which left 53 dead. An even more serious coup attempt would be staged against the Aquino government in December 1989. Multiplex (movie Theater)
A multiplex is a movie theater complex with multiple screens or auditoriums within a single complex. They are usually housed in a specially designed building. Sometimes, an existing venue undergoes a renovation where the existing auditoriums are split into smaller ones, or more auditoriums are added in an extension or expansion of the building. The largest of these complexes can sit thousands of people and are sometimes referred to as a megaplex. The difference between a multiplex and a megaplex is related to the number of screens, but the dividing line is not well-defined. Some say that 16 screens and stadium seating make a megaplex, while others say that at least 24 screens are required. Megaplex theaters may have stadium seating or normal seating, and may have other amenities often not found at smaller movie theaters; multiplex theatres often feature regular seating. The Kinepolis-Madrid megaplex in Spain, owned by the Belgian Kinepolis Group, is the largest movie theater ...

Araneta Family
The Araneta family is a Filipino people, Filipino family that originated from Gipuzkoa, the Basque Country (autonomous community), Basque region of northern Spain. The name is derived from the Basque language, Basque word ''aran'' meaning "valley", with the suffix ''-eta'' meaning "abundance of", but also a locative term denoting place. In this case, the Araneta name means "the family that comes from the valley". Origins In 1723, during the Manila galleon, Galleon trade, two brothers named Baltazar de Araneta and Don Jose de Araneta arrived in Manila aboard the Spanish fleet ''La Sacra Familia''. They came from the Basque region of Spain by way of Acapulco, Mexico. However, this was not conclusive as some members of the family disputed that the two are not brothers. Don Jose de Araneta must have been born in Gipuzkoa, but not Baltazar de Araneta; he was born in Mexico. Baltazar served as a ''regidor'' of the cabildo and secretary of the Charitable Fraternity of the Misericor ...
