The club has witnessed huge development milestones in terms of infrastructure, strategic development plans and marketing under the leadership of the new board of director (Nader Bushnaf) and the sports director Hossamedin Bedier. Benina Martyrs Stadium ( ar, ملعب شهداء بنينة) and until 2011 officially named Hugo Chávez Football Stadium ( ar, ملعب هوغو شافيز), is a Libyan football stadium located in Benina, a town 19 km east of Benghazi. The stadium was constructed by the same company that built the Brita-Arena in Germany. The stadium holds 10,550 people. This is Libya's first all-seater stadium. The stadium is used by most Benghazi clubs, and may be used by the national team as well. The surface of the pitch is artificial. Hemeya Tanjy (born 1 May 1998) is a Mauritanian footballer who plays as a forward for Mauritanian club Nouadhibou and the Mauritania national team. Club career Tanjy grew up playing street football in the streets of his hometown of Nouakchott. He played for local teams such as Skok Club and Zamzam club before he was discovered by the National Football Academy, where he spent a few years.
