Alfred University is a private university in Alfred, New York, United States. It has a total undergraduate population of approximately 1,600 students. The university hosts the statutory New York State College of Ceramics, which includes The Inamori School of Engineering and the School of Art and Design. NCAA Division III (D-III) is the lowest division of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) in the United States. Alex Yunevich
Alexander Joseph Yunevich (December 8, 1909 – January 28, 1992) was an American college football player and coach. He served as the head football coach at Central State Teachers College—now known as Central Michigan University—from 1934 to 1936 and at Alfred University from 1937 to 1976, compiling a career college football record of 186–98–13. Yunevich played football as a fullback at Purdue University. Yunevich was an assistant coach for the 1942 Lakehurst Naval Air Station Blimps football team.
