Alfred Ronan
Alfred G. "Al" Ronan (born December 3, 1947) is a former American politician. Born in Chicago, Illinois, Ronan received his bachelor's degree in political science and his master's degree in political and urban affairs from University of Illinois at Chicago. He was a management consultant. Ronan served in the Illinois House of Representatives from 1979 to 1993 and was a Democrat. The University of Illinois Chicago (UIC) is a public research university in Chicago, Illinois. Its campus is in the Near West Side community area, adjacent to the Chicago Loop. The second campus established under the University of Illinois system, UIC is also the largest university in the Chicago metropolitan area, having more than 33,000 students enrolled in 16 colleges.
