Alfonso Tamay
Alfonso Arístides Tamay Sánchez (born 13 May 1993) is a Mexican professional footballer who plays as a winger. Career Youth Alfonso Tamay came up through Tigres UANL youth system. He played for the Houston Dynamo in the 2010 SUM U-17 Cup as 'Tamay Sánchez' and led the tournament with four goals in four games. Back with Tigres for the Clausura 2011 Under-17 tournament, he won the goal-scoring title after scoring 17 goals. In 2013, he was sent out on loan to Puebla, where he won the Copa Pachuca prior to making his league debut with Puebla on January 5, 2014, in a 2–2 draw against Club Universidad Nacional. Football At The 2015 Pan American Games – Men's Tournament
The men's football tournament at the 2015 Pan American Games in Toronto, Canada was held at the Hamilton Pan Am Soccer Stadium in Hamilton from July 12 to 26. For the football competition in these Games, the men competed in an eight-team tournament. The teams were grouped into two pools of four teams each for a round-robin preliminary round. The top two teams in each group advanced to a single elimination bracket. The men's competition was an under-22 event, with each team supplemented with up to three over age players. Football At The Pan American Games
Football (soccer) at the Pan American Games has been included in every Pan American Games as a men's competition sport, since the first edition of the multi-sports event in 1951. The competition is organized by the Pan American Sports Organization. So as to avoid competition with the World Cup, FIFA have restricted participation of elite players in the men's tournament in various ways. Currently squads for the men's tournament are required to be composed of players under 22 years of age. The tournament was played in league format from 1951 to 1963, neither final nor bronze medal match hosted. The 2014 Central American and Caribbean Games football tournament is scheduled to be the 20th edition of the competition at the 21st edition of the Central American and Caribbean Games. It will be the first CAC Games football competition to take since 2006 due to the cancellation of the 2010 edition. Although the competition is considered to be an under-21 age group competition, up to three players born before 1 January 1993 may be named in the squad.
